Public transport accident claims

Sometimes road traffic accidents occur whilst you are using public transport such as buses, trams, or taxis.

If you have been injured as a result of someone else’s negligence whilst travelling as a passenger on public transport then you may be able to make a claim for compensation.

An accident can occur when the driver is negligent, perhaps by applying the brakes too heavily and without good reason, or when their negligent driving is the cause of a collision with another vehicle. In those circumstances your claim will be against the employers of the bus or tram driver.

If the accident was the fault of another road user then you may be able to claim against their insurers.

Thank you again for everything, I am so happy that I can finally look towards the future and start drawing a line under the accident and putting it in the past where it belongs...I don't think I've felt this happy in ages, it's like a massive weight has been lifted from my shoulders just knowing that it's all done.
