SEN specialist
Rachel has joined the education team as a SEN Specialist, helping children and young people to secure the education that meet their needs. She is very passionate about education law as she has a child with special educational needs.

After graduating she worked with a national SEND advice charity giving legally-based information and support to parents and carers, then she set up as an independent SEN law consultant.
She has experience in assisting parents with EHC needs assessment, drafting EHC Plans and in creating the casework needed for tribunal appeals.
Rachel is an associate member of CILEx and is a member of the Education Law Association.
Her interest in SEN law was sparked by caring for her own child. After graduating she worked with a national SEND advice charity giving legally-based information and support to parents and carers, then set up as an independent SEN law consultant.
Rachel has two children in their twenties, one of whom has learning disabilities. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, socialising and walking.
