Daughter settles mesothelioma claim on behalf of late father

Boyes Turner's mesothelioma lawyers agreed settlement with Rolls Royce following death of a former employee from mesothelioma. The victim’s claim related to his employment by Bristol Siddeley Engines Limited from 1965 and subsequently Royce Limited / Rolls Royce (1971) Limited in or around 1970/71.

Asbestos exposure

The claimant’s employment involved unpacking, testing and repacking helicopter engines which were packed with asbestos dust.  As a labourer the claimant was subjected to asbestos exposure and asbestos fibres which were released into the atmosphere.

Boyes Turner mesothelioma lawyers were instructed to act on behalf of the claimant for compensation arising out of his diagnosis of mesothelioma which resulted from his asbestos exposure at Rolls Royce.

Sadly, the claimant passed away after he began his mesothelioma claim.  The claim was then taken over by his daughter and has now been settled for the gross sum of £90,364.

I really appreciated the friendly, efficient and supportive nature of the solicitor.

I would also like to express my thanks to you for your dedication in chasing the defendant's insurance company especially where COVID-19 made an impact.
