£182,500 compensation for Bracknell Council heating engineer with mesothelioma

Boyes Turner's asbestos claims lawyers successfully settled a claim for £182,500 for a 70 year old man who developed mesothelioma, an asbestos related cancer, after being exposed to asbestos when he was employed as a plumbing and heating engineer by Bracknell Forest Borough Council between 1986 and 1990 and then from 1992 until 1997 and by Woking Borough Council between 1990 and 1992.

The victim was exposed to asbestos whilst working at various Council domestic properties which contained asbestos materials which he had to disturb to carry out his job,  including asbestos bath panels, asbestos soffits, asbestos fascias and asbestos drainpipes and asbestos corrugated roof sheets.

The claim settled for £182,500.

The service was personal, professional and considered. I was treated so kindly and in the end I knew that not only had I found the right organisation but also the right person.
