What made you go into law?

I worked as a Legal Secretary for more years than I care to remember and when I was young, way back in the Nineties, it was stable and interesting work, which required speed and attention to detail.

When did you join Boyes Turner and what is your role?

I joined Boyes Turner in November 2022 as a Legal Secretary, and in January 2024 was fortunate enough to become a Paralegal in the Court of Protection Team.

What do you like most about/what are you most looking forward to in your new role?

I remember meeting Ruth, Nadine and Anne in late 2023, and thinking I really want to be part of this team, as they’re so enthusiastic and engaging, when they talk about what they do.

Although I’ve only been in the team a short time, I love working in the Court of Protection Team, and find making a difference, no matter how small, is very rewarding.

I hope to grow within the team and develop my knowledge of property and financial affairs.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I enjoy eating out with family and friends, walking, reading books by Anthony Horowitz, Jayne Ann Krentz and J K Rowling/ Robert Galbraith.

I also love spending time with my two adorable cats, who we rehomed from Battersea many years ago.

What is your favourite food?

It’s hard to say, as I love my food,  but pizza, pasta, ice cream, cake, or chocolate are in my top ten.
