Judgment has been given but the case has not yet settled. Jane has a very limited life expectancy and we are therefore trying to sort out as much as possible with the interim payment received. A house has been purchased and will shortly be fully adapted once we have obtained a disabled facilities grant. Hoists will be placed in the bedroom and bathroom and a separate area maintained for the carers so that the family can maintain their privacy. This case will settle in excess of £1 million.
