Tara’s professional biography
Tara assists the group’s partners, Susan Brown and Richard Money-Kyrle, in the investigation, quantification and court work associated with high value cases involving cerebral palsy and other serious neurological injury, meningitis and spinal injury. She assisted Richard Money-Kyrle in the landmark primary victim case relating to maternal psychiatric injury, YAH v Medway NHS Foundation Trust [2018] EWHC 2964 (QB).
It was Tara’s earliest work placement experience of meeting people with life changing injuries that inspired her interest in helping people affected by medical negligence. Recognising how difficult it can be for injured and vulnerable patients to discuss their personal experiences with a lawyer, Tara aims to put new clients at ease and guide them supportively through the claims process. She builds strong relationships with her clients and finds helping them achieve successful outcomes to their claims immensely rewarding.
Tara’s charitable work has included volunteering with Cancer Research UK and Women’s Aid. She is an active supporter of Meningitis Now, participating in events such as WAG for Meningitis.
She is a member of the Law Society and is an APIL accredited Litigator.
