Boyes Turner’s Mesothelioma and Asbestos Disease Claims Team have been instructed by the family of Michael Allen Robinson following his death from mesothelioma in December 2020.

Unfortunately Michael had dementia and was unable to give any information about his working history or circumstances of asbestos exposure during his lifetime.

However he was an electrician with the following companies:

  • Duncan Watson (Electrical Engineers) Limited between 1956 and 1966/7, where he served his apprenticeship
  • Electrical Installations Limited between 1963/4 and 1964/5
  • Matthew Hall & Co Limited in 1964/5
  • Leaf & Carver Limited in 1965/66
  • F H Wheeler & Co Limited in 1966/7

We believe that Mr Robinson suffered asbestos exposure whilst working for some or all of these companies. His family are appealing for help from anyone who worked for any of these companies and who might know how he came into contact with harmful asbestos.

Senior Associate Solicitor, Melloney Harbutt, has asked “it would be really helpful to speak to any of Michael’s former colleagues who can shed light on how he might have come into contact with asbestos during these periods of employment.  It would still be helpful to speak to anyone who worked for any of these companies at the same time as they may have useful information”.

If you think you might be able to assist then please contact Melloney on 0118 952 7199.
