The specialist Personal Injury Group at Boyes Turner were instructed by a female sailing instructor and travel rep employed by a large all inclusive UK based holiday company specialising in Mediterranean water sport holidays. She was injured in an accident abroad as she assisted a group of guests at a holiday resort in Greece. Whilst working, our client was supervising another instructor on a sailing boat near the shore which was taking guests out, when a catamaran approached the beach and their boat dangerously quickly. As she attempted to protect the guests and the instructor, she suffered crush injuries to her hand, which left her with ongoing pain and an inability to return to the sailing instructor job which she loved. She was awarded compensation for her injuries and losses.
