What made you go into law? I’ve wanted to become a lawyer since secondary school. I was put off taking law by college admissions as I was told it would be ‘too hard for me’. I then needed to use Private Client lawyers to deal with some family matters and it prompted me to enrol in the law conversion course and eventually qualify! When did you join Boyes Turner and what is your role? I joined in February 2024 and I am an Associate Solicitor in the Community Care Law team. What do you like most about/what are you most looking forward to in your new role? I enjoy the wide variety of cases I’m working on and helping our clients to unravel complex legal issues. I like that the work I do can really make a difference to a person’s quality of life. What do you like to do outside of work? Spending time with family exploring the countryside and carving out time to catch up with friends. We live on the coast so whenever we get the chance, we head to the seafront for a swim or to have tea on the beach! What is your favourite food? Tough question, I love pasta so I’ll go for lasagne!
