What made you go into law? I’ve wanted to be a lawyer since secondary school, and I was driven by my desire to have a positive impact on people’s lives. I enjoy problem-solving and the challenge of finding solutions, which is what drew me to law in the first place. It’s a field where I can combine my passion for helping others with my skills in critical thinking and analysis. When did you join Boyes Turner, and what is your role? I joined Boyes Turner in January 2025, and I am currently a paralegal in the Court of Protection team. What do you like most about/what are you most looking forward to in your new role? Whilst I haven’t been in my new role for very long, I can already tell that I am going to love the varied nature of my work, with no two days being the same. Challenges seem to pop up all over the place, and I do like putting out fires. More importantly, my work is integral to the daily lives of vulnerable people, and I look forward to having the opportunity to support them and improve their quality of life. What do you like to do outside of work? Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two cats Leo and Lola, playing netball, and having games nights with my friends since we are all competitive. I’m also a big fan of attending concerts (the Eras Tour was a particular highlight!), building LEGO, and watching my football team Tottenham Hotspur play (when they’re not losing). What is your favourite food? This question is so difficult to answer, and it changes constantly, but as I am half Greek Cypriot, it has to be souvlaki with a Greek salad and pitta bread. Although, anything my yiayia (grandma) cooks is still a top contender.
