    Support education and research into spinal injuries.
  • Association of Disabled Professionals
    Working to improve education and employment opportunities for the disabled.
  • Association for Spinal Injury Research (ASPIRE)
    A registered charity formed in 1983 for the rehabilitation and reintegration of those with spinal injuries.
  • Back Up
    A UK charity for SCI offering services including courses, mentoring and wheelchair skills training.
  • Bladder and Bowel Foundation (B&BF)
    A UK charity providing information and support services to those with bladder and bowel problems.
  • British Association of Spinal Cord Injury Specialists (BASCIS)
    An association of  senior doctors in Great Britain, Northern Ireland and Eire. They aim to improve the acute and long-term management of spinal cord injury and the training of doctors in the speciality.
  • British Brain & Spine Foundation
    This foundation aims to improve the prevention, treatment and care of disorders of the brain and spine through research in the clinical neurosciences and education and awareness programmes.

    The British Pain Society has a membership of over 1,550 and is involved in all aspects of pain and its management through the work of the Council, Committees and Working Parties.

    The national body responsible for developing sport for disabled people in England.
  • Forum of Mobility Centres
    A network of independent organisations covering England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, who offer information, advice and assessment to individuals who have a medical condition or are recovering from an accident or injury which may affect their ability to drive or access a motor vehicle.

    A legislative body that aims to prevent death, injury and ill health in Great Britain’s workplaces.
  • Inclusive Fitness Initiative
    A network of over 180 inclusive fitness facilities across England.
  • INSPIRE Foundation
    A foundation that promotes research into, and the development of, electronic, mechanical and medical aids to assist people with spinal cord paralysis.
  • International Spinal Cord Society (ISCoS)
    A membership organisation of over 1,000 Clinicians and Scientists from 87 countries promoting research and education and training for all issues relating to traumatic and non-traumatic lesions of the spinal cord.

    The Association's prime objective is to provide a national professional forum to promote standards in clinical practice, foster research and encourage the development of health and social care services for people with spinal cord injuries.
