As an associate - solicitor in Boyes Turner’s highly respected Court of Protection team, Charlene helps severely brain-injured clients manage their property and financial affairs.
Charlene’s organisational skills and approachable, friendly manner are valued by her clients who have suffered life-changing injury and disability from negligent medical treatment or other serious accidents.
Working closely with the lawyers who are running the client’s compensation claim, Charlene is skilled in providing practical advice and support to her client and their family, often in relation to the difficult, sensitive or personal matters that arise in the aftermath of a severe injury, both during and after the claim.
A genuine ‘people-person’, Charlene enjoys getting to know her clients and understanding them, so that she can best help meet their needs. She is also enjoys her valuable role in this hard-working, friendly and nationally respected team.
Charlene has specialised in all aspects of Court of Protection work since qualification as a solicitor, with expertise in advising on preparation for settlement, post-settlement and the longer-term considerations which follow a claim, including:

In her role as a Dementia Friends Champion, Charlene delivers dementia information sessions to help the public become more dementia-friendly. Dementia Friends is an initiative of the Alzheimer's Society.
In her spare time, you’ll find Charlene in the kitchen baking cupcakes when she’s not being busy as a mum reading books to her toddler. Charlene and her son both have a soft spot for animals; Charlene does her bit for the Donkey Sanctuary and they both love to visit the local farm.
