Alexander’s professional biography

Alexander is a partner in Boyes Turner’s highly respected Court of Protection team. Alexander is a professional deputy for many of Boyes Turner’s clients, and he specialises in helping people who have suffered severe brain injury to manage their financial affairs.

Alexander’s expertise and understanding of the needs of clients with diminished mental capacity enables him to support Boyes Turner’s severely disabled and brain-injured clients and their families through the financial aspects of their personal injury and medical negligence claims.

Alexander assists clients with all types of Court of Protection applications, and helps clients who require a personal injury trust. In addition he prepares professional witness statements in relation to deputyship and private trust costs to enable clients to recover those costs through their medical negligence or personal injury claim. As a specialist in deputyship and trust management for seriously disabled and brain-injured individuals, Alexander supports clients in budget forecasting to ensure the compensation award will continue to meet the client’s ongoing needs. He also assists with the purchase and adaptation of property, investment of compensation awards, and with ensuring that his clients have the right support around them to ensure that their needs are being met.

Alexander was awarded the STEP Advanced Certificate in Advising Vulnerable Clients with distinction in 2017.

In his spare time, you’ll find Alexander at the piano or playing the guitar, singing and recording songs of his own composition. A prolific songwriter, he enjoys the individuality and creativity that can be expressed through composing;
