Mesothelioma claim for lagger - £208,000 compensation recovered for widow

Boyes Turner's mesothelioma claims lawyers acted on behalf of a woman in a claim for compensation following the death of her husband from the asbestos related cancer, mesothelioma

Her case had previously been rejected by another firm of solicitors due to the fact that the mesothelioma diagnosis had been being unclear. Our investigations confirmed that her husband had indeed suffered from peritoneal mesothelioma. It is generally accepted that this is the most painful form of mesothelioma.

Asbestos exposure

In his youth the man had worked as a lagger, during which time he had suffered asbestos exposure.

He died aged 62. At the time of his diagnosis he was a self-employed general builder.

Boyes Turner submitted his claim to his employers' insurers and following negotiation his widow was happy to accept their offer of £208,000 in compensation for her loss.

I really appreciated the friendly, efficient and supportive nature of the solicitor.

I would also like to express my thanks to you for your dedication in chasing the defendant's insurance company especially where COVID-19 made an impact.
