Leading personal injury and medical negligence solicitors
WITNESS APPEAL: Did you work on halls of residence at Reading University in 1972/73?
Boyes Turner solicitors have recently been instructed by a client who has been diagnosed with mesothelioma, an asbestos-related disease.
Our client was employed by W E Chivers and Sons Limited in 1972/73. At that time the company was building a new halls of residence at the University of Reading. The hall of residence was called Wells Place. Our client did a variety of jobs there, working as a general labourer and sweeping and clearing rooms.
Our client considers it possible that he was exposed to asbestos during his work here.
Our client would welcome assistance from anyone who could provide information regarding the above and in particular whether asbestos or asbestos dust would have been in the vicinity.
The service was personal, professional and considered. I was treated so kindly and in the end I knew that not only had I found the right organisation but also the right person.
