£20,000 compensation recovered for cycle accident victim

We have recently represented a Polish client in respect of injuries sustained as a result of a cycling accident.

Our client was cycling on a roundabout when the defendant drove into the back of her bike. Our client had the right of way, as she was already on the roundabout when the defendant hit her. As a result of the accident our client sustained a blunt injury to her head with laceration, soft tissue injury to her lower back and coccyx, cracked front tooth and travel anxiety.

The defendant's insurers accepted liability and paid for our client's physiotherapy treatment and psychological treatment. Despite the treatment, our client continued to suffer from some occasional symptoms, namely ongoing back pain and occasional headaches.

The claim settled out of court for £20,000.

The service was personal, professional and considered. I was treated so kindly and in the end I knew that not only had I found the right organisation but also the right person.
