What made you go into law?

Having worked for a major airline for a number of years, within an HR role, I really enjoyed the legal aspects of the job.  In addition, one of my three children has autism, severe learning difficulties and challenging behaviours.  I wanted a carrer where I could build on the difficult experiences we had faced as a family and learn the law relating to vulnerable clients so I could be empathetic and help other families who are facing difficult circumstances.

When did you join Boyes Turner and what is your role?

I joined in October 2021 and I am an Associate Solicitor supporting clients whose property and finances are managed on their behalf by a Deputy. I manage the clients’ day-to-day finances as well as Court applications and multi-million pound property adaptations.

What do you like most about/what are you most looking forward to in your new role?

I love meeting my clients and getting to know them and their families. I like to take time to build strong relationships with them so they know they can trust me completely.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I enjoy spending time at home with my family and out at live music and theatre events with my friends. To relax I read, watch trashy TV and practise yoga.

What is your favourite food?

I love sushi and Thai food, but anything too spicy gives me hiccups!
