In brief
Working in the firm's growing Industrial Disease group, I provide invaluable support to the specialist lawyers in gathering statements and evidence relating to the hundreds of claims cases with which they are involved.
In work
Having gained over ten years of experience in taking witness statements in the early part of my legal career, I now travel up and down the country to visit our industrial disease clients face to face. My role includes taking statements and gathering evidence, explaining Conditional Fee Agreements and carrying out any investigations that may be deemed appropriate to support the claims of the clients we are acting for.
In the past
I trained and qualified in London with a specialist property firm and moved to Windsor shortly after, becoming a senior partner at Charsley Harrison, before joining Boyes Turner.
In my spare time
I play a reasonable amount of golf having been captain recently of the Berkshire Golf Club. Travelling is another way I like to spend my time. I also used to be a non-executive director of East Berkshire NHS Trust for People with Learning Disabilities.
Favourite things
- Desert island item: At least one King Charles Spaniel - loyalty and companionship are everything.
- Saying: The old Irish adage - “if you leave a piece of meat on each end of the bone the dogs don't fight!”
