Laura Magson has made a very difficult time easier to deal with and made our claim easy for us to understand.I specialise in asbestos disease claims. Since qualifying in 2005, I have acted exclusively for victims of asbestos disease.
I am a member and litigator within the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and a member of the Law Society.
I completed my training contract at Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP in London during which time I spent one year in the personal injury department gaining claimant experience in industrial disease. I joined the Asbestos Team at Field Fisher Waterhouse on qualification in 2005 and began specialising in asbestos disease cases. I act for claimants with mesothelioma, asbestosis, pleural thickening and plaques, lung cancer, family members who have suffered a bereavement due to asbestos disease and those who have been exposed through the washing of relatives’ overalls.
After graduating from the University of Warwick with a degree in history, I completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course (with distinction) at BPP Law School in London. I then joined Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP in 2003 where I trained and qualified.
I try to play tennis and netball as often as I can (which is not that often in the winter months!) and have recently taken up ballroom dancing. I love to travel and before joining Boyes Turner spent 6 months visiting North and South America, China and Australasia.
