Provisional damages compensation secured for heating engineer diagnosed with pleural plaques
Boyes Turner's asbestos lawyers recently settled a claim on behalf of a man who has been diagnosed with pleural plaques, diffuse pleural thickening and rounded atelectasis.
He had been exposed to asbestos whilst employed as a heating engineer between approximately 1976 to 1985.
He was initially employed by J.B. Air Heating Limited, and during the course of his employment, he became employed by Crossflow (H.V. & A.C.) Limited. Both of these companies had been dissolved, and therefore our lawyers made the necessary applications to restore them back to the Register of Companies.
The compensation claim has been settled on a provisional damages basis for the gross sum of £20k.
