Successful mesothelioma claim for New Zealand widow
Boyes Turner's mesothelioma claims lawyers were contacted by the widow of a man who had been exposed to asbestos whilst employed by Chloride Group Plc between 1961 to 1975 at its factory in Dagenham, Essex.
He had been employed as a machine operator in the Dagenite department which made battery cases. The cases were made from a mould which had to be mixed together, containing bitumen, saw dust and raw asbestos.
He had moved to New Zealand in 1975 with his wife and was diagnosed with mesothelioma in July 2008.
Our specialist mesothelioma lawyers managed to settle her claim despite the fact that she has already received a lump sum payment from the New Zealand Government.
