Motorcycle road traffic accident - £11.6k compensation for injured man
Our client was crossing a road junction on his motorcycle when a van came at speed from his right side and collided with him resulting in a broken humerus, bruising to the thigh and hips and suspected fractured ribs.
He was unable to work for two months immediately following the road traffic accident and then for a further two weeks following surgery. He was also unable to use his motorcycle until two weeks after the operation on his humerus.
His injuries have limited his ability to undertake his main hobby - performing martial arts - and is now limited in weight lifting at the gym. This limitation is likely to be permanent, although not progressive in nature.
He was awarded personal injury compensation of £11.6k.
