Mesothelioma Claim against BAE Systems Plc
Our client was exposed to asbestos when he worked for BAE Systems Plc as an apprentice airframe fitter during the 1950’s and 1960’s. His work involved applying asbestos lagging to the air conditioning and heating units of various models of aircraft. He had heavy exposure and was never provided with any protective equipment.
He had been suffering with bad coughs and colds for several years before he went to see his GP. Following a chest x-ray and a subsequent CT scan and lung biopsy, he was diagnosed with mesothelioma in July 2009.
